Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.
My name is Ayanna Gellineau, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, trauma-certified clinician, and EMDR-trained therapist. I founded Perennial Integrative Therapy & Wellness to create a therapeutic space where clients can feel safe, seen, and supported as they move toward healing, clarity, and deeper connection with themselves.
My work is trauma-focused, integrative, and deeply collaborative. I support individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational wounds, attachment injuries, and the emotional weight of carrying too much for too long. I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, especially when you have learned to survive by staying strong, holding everything together, or placing your own needs last.
In therapy, we will work at a pace that honors your nervous system, your lived experiences, and your goals. My approach draws from EMDR, parts work/Internal Family Systems-informed therapy, CBT, ACT, narrative therapy, somatic practices, and trauma-informed care. Together, we may explore the patterns that have helped you survive, the parts of you that carry pain or protection, and the possibilities for healing that feel grounded, compassionate, and sustainable.
I believe therapy is not about “fixing” who you are. It is about helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been silenced, overwhelmed, or disconnected through life experiences. My role is to offer a steady, compassionate space where you can make meaning of your story, strengthen your sense of self, and build tools that support emotional regulation, relational healing, and lasting change.
At Perennial Integrative Therapy & Wellness, healing is approached with warmth, curiosity, and respect for the whole person — mind, body, culture, faith, relationships, and lived experience. Whether you are beginning therapy for the first time or returning after previous experiences with talk therapy, you are welcome here.
